Indigo Dyeing Workshop

Spend a dreamy afternoon learning how to indigo dye at the Rooted Botanics's studio in Ojai. This beginner-friendly natural indigo dyeing class is perfect for anyone curious about the indigo plant and how those deep, vibrant blues come to life.

Using indigo leaves and an ancient recipe, you’ll learn how to make a natural indigo vat from scratch and explore all the mesmerizing techniques for working with this incredible dye plant. No stress, no perfectionism–just relaxed, joyful creating together as a group. 

Students can bring in 1 small/medium piece of clothing/fabric for dipping. 

Where: Rooted Botanics Studio, Ojai

When: July 20th, 1pm-4pm

You will leave with a beautiful dyed piece of your own, as well as a 6 page in depth packet with notes of all of the information we went over in class!

Due to the nature of these intimate workshops, all ticket sales are non-refundable. If a student last minute cannot make the workshop, they will be credited for another workshop, or receive store credit for their purchase.
