Foundation of Plant Dyes Workshop

Join me for a one day class where we will explore the foundations of plant dyes! In this class we will gather and learn the science, recipes, and importance of scouring and mordanting fabric, and how to dye with traditional plant dyes while also learning about their history and culture. 

Each student will be given fabric to dye each color with as well as a custom Rooted Botanics plant dyer's journal to take notes and put swatches in. Students will also receive a detailed pamphlet with all the information that is taught in class.

-Cutch 

-Lac

-Logwood

-Marigold

This class welcomes ALL skill levels!

When: February 16th, 12-4pm

Due to the nature of these intimate workshops, all ticket sales are non-refundable. If a student last minute cannot make the workshop, they will be credited for another workshop, or receive store credit for their purchase.
