Intro to Plant Dye: 2 Part Workshop

Join us in Topanga at Moon Star Collective for an immersive two part workshop on how to plant dye!

Class will meet on September 21th and September 28st, 6pm-9pm

In your first class you will learn how to Mordant and prepare your fabrics for dye. We will be covering mordanting techniques for all different types of fabric. Students will also create a hand made journal to keep all of their new swatches and educational notes in!

In your second class you will learn how to extract color from multiple plant materials! You will then take all of your mordanted fabrics and dip them in multiple colors to see the variety of shades you can create on different fabrics.
