Painting With Earth & Spirit

Join Allie Feldman and Gaby Azorsky in Allie’s plant dye studio to learn how to make watercolor paints from plants - infused with flower and plant essences from Ojai!

This is an intimate workshop guided by Allie and Gaby with the intention of exploring the questions: How do we bring our spiritual practices, our connections with Earth and Spirit, into our Art? How can our art-making be spiritual and be infused with the presence of the land? How are our earthly bodies inherently vessels for art to be created?

Each student will receive detailed notes on how to create plant pigment from leftover dye baths, how to make water colors from plant pigment, all about how to make and take flower and plant essences, how to make them at home, spiritual energetics, plant spirit communication, and more.

The pigment and flower essences will already be provided and made in advance, and as a class, we will make 6 different watercolors together and infuse them with the essences from the land!

Students will leave with -

• A one-of-a-kind watercolor palate infused with essences to paint with in the future
• Take home booklets from Allie and Gaby of instructions to continue with the plants at home
• A reflective, fun, intimate day of art and connection

There are only 6 spaces available to join us for this unique workshop. Please bring a journal and writing utensil. Light snacks and herbal infusions will be provided.

Due to the nature of these intimate workshops, all ticket sales are non-refundable. If a student last minute cannot make the workshop, they will be credited for another workshop, or receive store credit for their purchase.
