Join me for an hour and a half lecture & presentation on dyeing with native plants.

-my scouring and mordanting recipes for preparing animal and cellulose fibers for any kind of dye
-the importance of recognizing the history of native plants in America and their uses
-local recipes and examples from native dye plants I have experimented with
-Ethically harvesting plants for dye and growing them in your garden

-websites and sources to get materials for dyeing at home as well as books and recommendations to further you’re foraging and ethnobotany exploration
