Indigo Workshop at Poco Farm

Join us for an afternoon on the farm to learn how to dye with Indigo!

Indigo is a such a unique dye plant that requires an ancient recipe for executing the classic indigo blues. We will go over different types of techniques, recipes, and troubleshooting when working with indigo.

We will be making an indigo vat from scratch together, so students can get hands on experience & learning. Swatches of various different materials will be provided to dipping & students have the opportunity to bring in 1-2 small goods for dipping. (Please do not bring any item larger than a t-shirt, so there is enough pigment for everyone to dye!)
